Born in January 1970 in the North East of England and now living in South Oxfordshire. Creation and innovation have both been life long passions, which are expressed strongly in his metal sculptures. They are original, unique, intriguing and always immediately identifiable.

Daren enjoys the challenge of reinterpreting everyday objects and presenting them in unexpected, sometimes surprising, contexts. Being a keen cyclist most of his works use steel cycle components as central to their theme. Using a mixture of used, unused and obsolete components in his work to achieve the desired aesthetic effect. Daren strongly believes that much of the material used in everyday life can be put to new uses.
