Paula Vize
Paula
is an award-winning artist with an established reputation
for her contemporary portrayal of traditional rural subjects.
Her paintings are held in private collections throughout
the British Isles and as far a field as Cape Town and Dubai.
Her treatment of her subjects is noted for its unfettered
and free style.
Paula takes much pleasure in the relationships she is privy
to when undertaking commissions. It is a responsibility
that requires trust and understanding which she greatly
values. The bond between horse and owner, or dog and owner
and between brothers and sisters is something that widely
varies but is always uplifting. She feels privileged to
be able to capture those special moments that occur when
working in this way.
Her painting 'Hampshire Harriers' was showcased in the 13th
March 2008 "Fine Art" edition of Country
Life - to view the article please click
